care that starts with a conversation

my mission

Tempo Pelvic Health exists to give people the knowledge, tools, and strategies we all wish someone had taught us growing up. This is how we reconnect to our own bodies, to trusted resources, and to one another. Care like this doesn't stay with one person. It ripples through families, and through generations — building a future where no one has to suffer in silence, or wonder if what they're going through is normal.

Hello! I’m Genesis.

I've been fascinated by the human body since childhood — always choosing the medical encyclopedia off the shelf over fiction books. By adolescence, I was already the friend people came to with the "embarrassing" questions. Periods, sex, STIs? Bring it on. I always knew that these topics made everyone uncomfortable, but to me they seemed like a normal part of being human. Somewhere along the way, I realized that my beliefs about sex and the body weren't the same as everyone else's — that sex and bodily autonomy aren't something that happens to us, but rather ours to own from the very beginning. That mindset is what unknowingly guided me into pelvic health PT — a field built entirely on the idea that all people deserve to feel powerful, informed, and in control of their own bodies.

I got my Bachelor's in Kinesiology from Arizona State University, then my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2017 — and I immediately knew where I belonged. During my clinical rotations, I watched pelvic health PT change people's lives in real time, while most of them could barely say the words "vagina" and "penis" out loud. Turns out being comfortable in the uncomfortable is kind of my superpower. So that's what I do now — help people get their strength, their confidence, and their life back, one honest conversation at a time.

Outside of Tempo, I'm raising two boys with my ever-patient husband, starting more hobbies than I finish, and pretending to know what "relaxing" means.
